Over the past few years 15 officers have left the Monrovia Police Department to seek employment at other police departments.  Many of these departments are similar in size, demographics and opportunities to the City of Monrovia and the Monrovia Police Department.  The total number of years of experience Monrovia PD lost due to these officer leaving is over 150 years.

The below listed officers included a wide array of experience, knowledge, training and resources.  Whatever the reason these officers felt compelled to leave the true losses are suffered by the Monrovia Police Department and the citizens we serve.  The list below includes a Lieutenant, two Detectives, two Field Training Officers, a Motor Officer, a School Resource Officer and other specialized assignments and experience.
